Carville blasts radical Dems — and Biden (Sept. 26):

From a purely partisan standpoint, Republicans are lucky that Democratic power brokers aren’t heeding famed consultant James Carville when he blasts the Democratic Party’s leftward lurch. The nation’s civic health, though, would improve if they did listen to him.

For several years now, Carville, who gained his greatest fame with the more pragmatic Democratic President Bill Clinton, has been sounding the alarm on the prominence within his party of the radically “woke” contingent of leaders. He was at it again on Sept. 24 on Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast.

“I find the Left to be just annoying,” Carville told Maher. “The western far Left is habitually the most stupid, naive people you can imagine. They come up with these really goofy constructs and it’s all about feeling good about yourself.”…

A non-radical Dem could defeat Biden (Sept. 20): Not just Democratic realists but good conservatives, too, should be wishing, hoping, pleading, even begging a responsible Democrat to challenge President Joe Biden’s renomination. It’s almost “now or never” time, and the republic’s health depends on it. Or, better yet, on Biden voluntarily withdrawing. …

Judge reins in Biden’s jihad against oil and gas (Sept. 23):  Thursday night, the Biden administration lost yet another court battle in its ongoing jihad against domestic fossil-fuel production. Thank goodness. The legally and economically unwarranted jihad is bad for American jobs and living costs. It should end.

The administration was trying to put severe restrictions on a lease sale involving millions of acres in the Gulf of Mexico…..
