Reagan’s own diary fumed that Biden trashed the ‘wall’ speech that Biden with which Biden now associates himself (March 7):  President Joe Biden is absolutely right to try to make a case on behalf of arming Ukraine. But the way he chose to do it was as hypocritical as can be.

Yes, the Biden Democrats are cutting (the best part of) Medicare (Official Washington Examiner editorial, March 9):  For years, Democrats have accused Republicans of wanting to slash entitlements such as Medicare and Social Security, but it is the Biden Democrats who actually cut benefits. Worse, they do it in ways that effectively cost taxpayers more.

The Biden administration is poised to squeeze Medicare Advantage plans yet again, but it should reconsider. Its proposal, due to be finalized by month’s end, continues the “worst of both worlds” approach of giving fewer choices to patients while indirectly but inevitably hastening Medicare’s insolvency….

Adam Schiff’s cheap shots can’t hide Biden’s culpability on classified documents  (Official Washington Examiner editorial, March 14): Ambitious Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) has long elevated political hackery to a garish modern art approximation. Schiff, running interference for ethically compromised President Joe Biden, blasted Hur for noting the president’s repeated mental lapses during Hur’s investigation. On multiple occasions, Schiff accused Hur of having “gratuitously” “shape[d]” the report “for political reasons.”… [But] In submitting the required report to the attorney general about his investigation, Hur was duty-bound to explain both what he discovered and why he recommended against prosecution despite finding technically criminal behavior…..

Sen. Marshall tries to stop Biden team from ruining foster care (March 16): All credit to Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) and colleagues for introducing a bill that could save foster care services and children from one of the most morally misbegotten initiatives of the entire Biden administration…..
