My latest piece for the terrific new site, Opportunity Lives, is an essay based on books on Jack Kemp and Ronald Reagan. About three years ago I adopted a rule against formal book reviews of books written by friends, so this isn’t a formal review. It’s more a reflection. But yes, thinking about Kemp and Reagan isn’t looking back; it’s looking forward — and I thank Craig Shirley (on Reagan) and Fred Barnes and Morton Kondracke (on Kemp) for so wonderfully giving us reasons why this is so.

Please read it, here.   — Quin
