When the establishment media so often tries to turn attention away from the reality that much of the world’s terrorism is perpetrated by Muslims in the name of their religion, it is refreshing to see a pillar of the establishment community actually acknowledge the elephant in the room. (Let me add to what I wrote above: It would of course be just as wrongheaded to blame Muslims in general as it is to ignore the Muslim factor at work here. What I’m calling for is not reporting that creates scapegoats, but reporting that acknowledges factual elements of the story.)
