I’m not a big believer that the world is threatened by major, man-made climate change. But, all other things being equal, I prefer cleaner energy to less-clean energy. I think most people feel the same. Now comes a cross-ideological effort to fight (alleged) climate change, and promote clean energy, via supply-side tax cuts (cuts, not refundable credits).
Quite unusually, it is published simultaneously by the conservative American Spectator and the liberal Huffington Post. This is, in itself, evidence (especially for those who understand the publishing industry, where this sort of thing never happens) of a breakthrough in terms of finding creative solutions and common ground.
