Thursday in a blog post at National Review, I expressed quite a strong reaction to the idea of some historical illiterates to replace Alexander Hamilton’s face on the $10 bill.  Sure, there are other, more important issues in the world right now, in terms of direct and measurable effect on people’s lives. But symbolism is important, too, and this decision is one that reeks of such awful symbolism that it must be stopped. Read about it here.
